When you add ActiveNac to water you initiate this chemical reaction. You can watch ActiveNAC transform in water with your own eyes.

The water starts as cloudy, then bubbles form and float to the surface like seltzer water. The bubbles are evidence the magnesium is switching its bond to the NAC and creating Mg(NAC)2: a chelated, activated NAC molecule. This is the magnesium chelate of NAC - ActiveNAC.
